Scott Moore, Ph.D., Director of China Programs and Strategic Initiatives, University of Pennsylvania
Secretary Blinken’s visit to China has opened a tentative window, arguably the biggest since before the pandemic, for the United States and China to resume dialogue and cooperation on key issues of shared concern, including climate change. Drawing on recent meetings with U.S. officials and Chinese interlocutors, this talk will provide a short assessment of where things stand after Blinken’s visit, while inviting participants to contribute their own experiences and assessments.
