Dr. Ely Ratner is executive vice president and director of studies at the Center for a New American Security.
Edward A. Turzanski is a Templeton Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, specializing in national security and intelligence issues. He is a Life Member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO), having served with the U.S. intelligence community in postings throughout the Middle East, Central Asia and Eastern Europe during the Reagan Administration; and he was a member of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Anti-Terror Advisory Committee throughout the George W. Bush Administration. Since 9-11, he has regularly offered commentary on national security, political, intelligence and terror-related issues on more than four-dozen media outlets throughout North America and has been a frequent contributor to Canada’s CTV News in Toronto and the Canadian Broadcast Corporation. Turzanski is a rotating panelist on 6ABC TV's “Inside Story” on Sunday mornings. He is also Vice President of the Union League of Philadelphia.
