China’s rapid rise to become the largest investor in and user of clean energy technologies in the world has simultaneously cast it as both an international climate leader and an unfair competitor. How is China innovating in the clean energy space and what is the benefit to the rest of the world? Professor Joanna Lewis will present some of the results of her recent research on this topic and discuss the implications for future energy and climate policy and for US-China relations.
