Internationalization of the Renminbi? -- Prospects and Challenges

"Internationalization" of the Renminbi has been an important economic and foreign policy goal for China. And it is a precondition to China's currency becoming a supplement or a rival to the US dollar in the international economic system. Yet Internationalization presents risks for China, faces difficult legal and practical obstacles, and has yet to be achieved. What are the prospects and problems for RMB "Internationalization" now?
