Legal Development in China: Perspectives from Washington

Natalie Lichtenstein has been observing China's development since the 1970s.  Recently retired after 30 years as a World Bank lawyer, she teaches Chinese law in Washington, DC.  Her talk will review the development of the Chinese legal system through the prism of rule of law concepts.

She will also share her perspectives on legal careers in international development organizations.
