Justin is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in international relations. Justin began studying Mandarin in high school under the instruction of a Hong Kong friend. Since then he has pursued an ever-growing obsession with the language and with China itself – its history, its culture, its politics, and its people. He is an alumnus of several Chinese language programs, including the Penn High School Chinese Academy, Princeton in Beijing, and CIEE. When he’s not writing for the Center, Justin works as an ELP language partner, a member of the International Affairs Association, and a page at Biddle Law Library. He enjoys reading, writing poetry, and meditating.
