Justin Melnick is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying International Relations and Economics. Justin has been to China several times – teaching English, doing business, and studying Chinese. He is a lover of languages and besides Mandarin has studied Spanish, French, Italian, and Russian. Justin hopes to get a PhD in political science and use his passion for data science to conduct quantitative social science research. At Penn, he is also the deputy editor of Sigma Iota Rho's Journal of International Relations, conducts research at the Perry World House, and works with the International Relations Undergraduate Student Association. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his chinchilla, Tito.
