Justin Melnick is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying International Relations and Economics. Justin has been to China several times – teaching English, doing business, and studying Chinese. He is a lover of languages and besides Mandarin has studied Spanish, French, Italian, and Russian. Justin is applying for a Ph.D. in political science and use his passion for data science to conduct quantitative social science research. At Penn, he is also the editor-in-chief of Sigma Iota Rho's Journal of International Relations, conducts research at the Perry World House, and works with the International Relations Undergraduate Student Association. His work appears in Foreign Policy.
