This roundtable will feature a moderated discussion of the implications of population aging for China’s future, from the perspectives of economics, social policy and practice, public health, and sociology. The roundtable will feature Feinian Chen, Johns Hopkins Sociology, Xi Chen, Yale School of Public Health, Hanming Fang, Penn Economics, and Chao Guo, Penn Social Policy and Practice. The discussion will consider implications for the economy, health, social services, and social and family change. Responses to population aging will also be discussed.
