China’s growing power and deepening engagement in the international system are among the forces transforming an international legal order that was shaped by the United States and its allies in the Postwar era. Leading international law and international relations scholars from the U.S. and China will address the implications for ten major areas, including international trade and investment, human rights, the environment, the use of force, global governance, maritime disputes, and more.
To attend lunch panel on Friday Oct. 7 featuring two former U.S. Department of State Legal Advisers, please RSVP to cscc-contact@sas.upenn.edu by 5pm Oct. 5.
