Yi-Lin is currently a sociology PhD student at Penn. Her research interests include intergenerational status transmission, family, and higher education in Chinese societies. She is currently working on youth migration in China, Chinese American students' college decisions, and Taiwanese multi-generation educational mobility. Yi-lin received a B.A. in Anthropology from National Taiwan University, an M.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, and an M.A. Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania.
